Ultra-Precision Lab (X-Lab) is a laboratory system developed by the cooperation of interdisciplinary teams of Xiamen and Tan Kah Kee Innovation Laboratory. To achieve the device fabrication and materials characterization at the atomic level, we developed the intelligent control system for the scientific instruments and equipment by integrating active and passive techniques to eliminate all disturbances relevant for researches, such as mechanical and seismic vibrations, acoustic noise, temperature & humidity fluctuations, and electro-magnetic noise. This lab is aiming to provide an ideal platform for the research and development of fundamental science.
